Life is choosing to dance by ourselves or with our Lord.
We can sit in the corner of our own world watching,
Expecting, and hoping for life to happen to us,
Pushing and pulling, struggling for dominance
as we dance by ourselves in our own world of nothingness.

Or do we take the hand of our Lord
As we humbly follow in the dance of life?
As we dance, do we insist on leading the dance
as we promenade with thoughts of self-determinism
that tempt us to spin off , twirling on our own,
as we control with pride and contempt
and then have no one to comfort us when we fall?

Or do we make a decision to let go of self and follow
and have the success of our partnership with our Lord?
How much more can we achieve as we dance
with our loving Lord to lead the way.

We then will dance with spirit and grace as we
move back and forth across the floor,
turning, spinning, and dipping.

So do we sit on the side waiting to dance?
Yes, excuses abound as we wait in our nothingness,
Brooding, blaming, and accusing others.

My friend, God is beckoning you to rise and join Him.

The choice is yours.

Take a chance and give our Lord your hand
and join Him in the dance we call life.
